Nicole Howell graduated from Regent University School of Law and is a member of the Florida and District of Columbia Bar Associations. She volunteered as a pro-bono attorney for domestic violence cases in D.C., working on behalf of indigent domestic violence victims, women, and children seeking protective orders and custody. This work led Nicole to pursue and graduate with her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Nicole worked at the Congressional Coalition on Adoption, where the mission was to help all children find safe and permanent homes, and advocate for policy related to the foster care and adoption systems. During her time at CCAI, Nicole gained valuable experience coordinating volunteers, communicating with other policy organizations, and working in the nonprofit environment.
