Volunteer Ambassadors believe that advocacy for abused and neglected children is vital to the well-being of our community. Ambassadors are friends of Henrico CASA, carrying out education, engagement, and fundraising campaigns on our behalf. They add value to our organization by helping friends, family members, and colleagues see the importance of CASA’s work.
This is a great opportunity for people who embrace our mission, but are not able to serve as an individual Advocate. It is also a great way to expand your network and gain professional experience beyond your ‘day job.’
Ambassadors are a key asset to building our community efforts & awareness!
Our first-ever cohort of Volunteer Ambassadors jumped right in! You may have already seen them out in the community:
Participating in the Home for Good® Festivities at Short Pump
Answering Phone Calls on NBC's Call12 Hotline
Serving Wine at the Short Pump Town Center Summer Concert Series
BECOME AN AMBASSADOR
Cohorts are formed every year
Throughout the year, you can count on monthly meetings and additional opportunities to serve. Before the conclusion of your year with CASA, we ask you to help recruit a new Ambassador to keep the momentum going!
We would love to tell you more about this flexible volunteer role and how you can join our next cohort being planned for 2024! Request more information using our form below…
