What is a CASA Ambassador?

CASA Ambassadors are a key link to help Henrico CASA maximize our reach and increase our awareness in the Greater Richmond community. By being an ambassador, you believe in our mission that children who experience abuse and neglect should receive a caring advocate and believe in our vision that all children should live in safe, happy, loving homes.

CASA Ambassadors will help carry out numerous awareness, advocacy and fundraising campaigns throughout the year to help open new doors to attract program participants, raise funds, and recruit volunteers and friends to CASA. Henrico CASA will provide information and support tools before you undertake any activities and will support you in your role from start to finish.

How long is the commitment?

The CASA Ambassador minimum commitment is one calendar year (January to December).  During the course of the year, you will be asked to help make a difference by sharing information with your followers on social media/blogs, network for us by helping secure speaking engagements, and hosting small events to raise awareness and funds for our cause. By the end of your one-year term, we also ask Ambassadors to recruit at least one new ambassador into the program to help sustain and grow the program.

Though the required commitment is one year, we love for our ambassadors to make a longer commitment to help spread CASA’s mission!
