Meet Our 2022 Playhouses
Playhouses remind us that childhood should be carefree, without abuse or neglect. That's why Henrico CASA hosts our annual Home for Good fundraising and awareness event. We partner with local builders to create, display, and give away one-of-a-kind playhouses.
The ongoing success of our Home for Good event shows that TOGETHER we can continue to serve every vulnerable child that needs a voice.
2022 playhouses have been delivered to their winners!
Classic Cottage
The Classic Cottage was built by Classic Construction. It is a beauty with a metal roof donated by Nara Contracting.
Jungle Junction
'Jungle Junction' was built by DPR Construction with materials provided by Cobb Lumber. This playhouse is perfect for our little explorers and animal lovers.
Modern Mansion
The Modern Mansion iwas built by UrbanCore Construction with a sleek design by 510 Architects. Additional materials were donated by 84 Lumber, Atlantic Lift Systems, Custom Coatings, Custom Ornamental, Evans Carpet, MOI Inc., and Saunders Roofing.
Happy Camper
The Happy Camper was built by W.M. Jordan Company with materials donated by Chewning & Wilmer to remind us that childhood is an adventure.
Castle Rock
The Castle Rock was built by students at Henrico's Career and Technical Education program with resources donated by Atlantic Constructors Inc.; James River Exteriors, and W.M. Jordan Company.
The Home for Good playhouse event (“Home for Good event”) is only open to legal residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia, age 18 years of age or older at date of entry. A random electronic drawing will be conducted May 9, 2022, from all eligible entries. Potential winners will be notified via email and telephone within one (1) day after the random drawing. If a potential winner fails to respond within two (2) days, that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be determined.
Delivery of the five playhouses to the five winners will occur May 12-13, 2022. Henrico CASA will deliver the playhouses to the winners up to thirty (30) miles from Short Pump Town Center (11800 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23233). In the event that the winner lives more than thirty (30) miles from Short Pump Town Center the winner agrees and is responsible for transportation for any distance beyond thirty (30) miles from Short Pump Town Center.
Playhouses will be delivered to a driveway, street, or other hard surface identified by the winner that can be reasonably reached via a small forklift. Henrico CASA is not responsible for making any arrangements for the delivery of the playhouse including, but not limited to, clearing a plot of land or removing part of a fence; these logistics will be up to the winner to coordinate after the delivery of the playhouse.
No playhouse is redeemable for cash, exchange, or transfer.
LIMIT: One playhouse per person or household.
