Our Strength Lies in Commitment
Our 2025 Impact Report, entitled “Stronger Together,” reflects the collective effort of CASA’s community over the past year. Our impact wouldn’t be possible without this community of caring individuals who forward our mission.
At the heart of that strength is one quality that defines Henrico CASA: Commitment. Our commitment represents a pledge to child victims and our obligation to the courts. We are fully engaged in speaking up for the best interests of children!
The Power of Commitment
In FY 2024–2025, 100% of children referred to Henrico CASA were matched with a dedicated volunteer Advocate. That means every child had a consistent adult focused solely on their best interests throughout their court involvement.
Our Advocates’ diligence also helps prevent children from experiencing further harm. Less than one percent of cases this past year cited additional findings of abuse or neglect while CASA was appointed, evidence of the protective role that consistent advocacy plays.
Most importantly, 100% of the cases closed during this period with children living in safe, stable, long-term homes. A safe home sets these children up for success because permanency is a proven key to a healthy childhood.
All of these outcomes demonstrate Henrico CASA’s commitment to ensuring children have everything they need to thrive.
Standing Stronger Together
CASA’s impact is built on relationships: between Advocates and the children we serve, between Henrico CASA and the courts, and between our organization and our supporters. Each connection reinforces our ability to serve and to stand steadfast for children in need.
Our strength truly lies in commitment: people showing up and staying involved year after year. Together, we embody the spirit of Stronger Together, ensuring that every child’s story moves toward safety, stability, and hope.
