Our 2025 Impact Report, entitled Stronger Together, highlights the collective effort and collaboration that make Henrico CASAโs work possible. Every child we serve benefits from the dedication of individuals who step up, support one another, and work towards our shared goal: ensuring safety, stability, and hope.
The impact of these relationships extends far beyond the courtroom. From volunteer Advocates to partners to donors, each member of our CASA community strengthens our ability to ensure that no child walks through the court system alone.
Investing in our Community
In FY 2024โ2025, our staff invested 2,267 hours carefully facilitating and managing training for our volunteer Advocates. Each session was designed to equip volunteers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate cases, understand trauma, and advocate effectively for childrenโs best interests. Beyond the initial pre-service training, ongoing education and collaboration opportunities kept our Advocates informed and supported throughout their service.
In addition, our focus on education extended beyond our internal staff and volunteer teams. Henrico CASA worked diligently to raise public awareness and deepen community understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable children and families. Henrico CASA produced 36 episodes of the Vigilant Voices podcast and published 49 blog posts to educate the community on issues central to CASAโs mission. These efforts strengthened knowledge, fostered engagement, and amplified the voices of children throughout Henrico County.
Together, our team at Henrico CASA is building a more informed, engaged, and compassionate community
